Smartphones come with basic apps pre-installed. The ones that actually make a difference usually require you to find them yourself. Here are the utility apps worth installing regardless of which Android phone you own.
File Management: Files by Google
The default file manager on most Android phones is poor. Files by Google replaces it with something clean and genuinely useful. It identifies large files, removes junk, allows fast file sharing via Bluetooth, and provides clear storage breakdowns. Free, no ads, no sign-in required.
Password Security: Bitwarden
Every person who uses the internet needs a password manager. Bitwarden is the best free option: open-source, independently audited, and more trustworthy than storing passwords in your browser.
